Position Summary

Host guests, manage dining reservations and wait lists, and coordinate seating decisions.

Provide guest assistance while maintaining dining-room cleanliness, service, and safety.

Assist management with employee hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, and coaching.

Guest Service Duties

  • Answer phones and enter diner information into the reservation system.
  • Maintain wait lists and quote accurate wait times.
  • Greet guests, determine party size, and seat guests at clean tables.
  • Organize seating for large and special-needs groups.
  • Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance.
  • Ensure appropriate menus, napkins, silverware, and place settings.
  • Monitor seating availability, service, and safety.
  • Communicate professionally with guests and employees.

Team and Compliance Duties

  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, and motivation.
  • Follow company, safety, and security policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect confidential information.
  • Support quality standards and perform reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is specified.

Schedule and Work Setting

  • The schedule is full time.
  • The position is not located remotely and involves in-person dining operations.
  • The role requires extended standing, sitting, or walking and moving objects up to 10 pounds.
