Position Information
Host/Hostess position in the Food and Beverage & Culinary category at The Pearl Island, Doha, Qatar.
The schedule is full time and the position is non-management.
The role is not remote and requires work at the hotel location.
Guest Reception and Seating
- Welcome guests and determine the number of people in each party.
- Escort guests through dining areas and provide assistance when needed.
- Arrange tables, chairs, cutlery, and seating layouts for groups with special needs.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas.
Dining Area Preparation
- Ensure tables have clean and appropriate cutlery, napkins, menus, and standard place-setting items.
- Check that menus are updated, clean, complete, and free of wrinkles.
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day through consistent cleaning procedures.
Standards and Teamwork
- Follow company and safety policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
