Role and Skills

  • Provides support to the reception team in patient communication. Works effectively in the team. Supports the environment to achieve patient satisfaction. Strives to achieve team’s goals for productivity, effectiveness, excellence, and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to hospital standards in communicating with patients and doctors
  • Welcome patients, VIP guests, and pharmaceutical representatives both on the telephone and in person visitors
  • Assist inquiries patiently and accurately; empathetic to patients’ concerns
  • Ensure patient satisfaction
  • Professionally answer multi line phone and transfer calls to needed departments
  • Knowledgeable in system based task and insurance coverage and information
  • Schedule and confirm appointment and follow ups for doctors and patients
  • Maintain and verify records and accounts of patients and doctors with confidentiality
  • Process different payments for patients and issue receipts
  • Maintain good relationship with patient and doctor
  • Ensure maintenance of reception area
  • Grace under pressure
