Responsibilities
- Monitor direct and indirect patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Develop and adjust complex nursing care plans for patients with varying acuity
- Lead and coordinate responses to medical emergencies in the home environment
- Communicate patient status, changes in treatment, and ongoing care needs to families and physicians
- Assign duties, manage shifts, and balance workloads among field nurses and support staff
- Provide orientation, ongoing training, and regular performance evaluations for junior nursing staff
- Coordinate the effective utilization and inventory management of medical equipment and consumables
- Audit clinical care and documentation to ensure adherence to local health regulations (e.g. DHA/DOH standards)
- Promote and monitor compliance with homecare infection control policies
- Investigate and implement corrective actions for any patient complaints or clinical incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- Valid local registration (e.g., DHA, DOH, or HAAD)
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 4 years of clinical experience
- At least 2 years in a senior, team leader, or charge nurse capacity in a homecare setup

Overview

- The role ensures high quality, continuous patient care, manages staff schedules, and serves as the primary liaison between patients, families, and physicians.
Clinical Leadership & Patient Care
- Monitor direct and indirect patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Develop and adjust complex nursing care plans for patients with varying acuity.
- Lead and coordinate responses to medical emergencies in the home environment.
- Communicate patient status, changes in treatment, and ongoing care needs to families and physicians.
Staff Management & Logistics
