- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers
- Administer medications, injections, and wound care; monitor vital signs and overall patient conditions
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment regimens, health maintenance, and emergency preparedness
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
- Assess and improve the safety of the home environment
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure continuity of care
- Assist with personal care activities including feeding, grooming, and mobility support as needed
- Document care activities and patient progress, reporting to relevant medical staff
- Provide end of life care when applicable, managing pain and emotional needs
Requirements
- Valid license to practice issued by the Qatar Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP)
- 2–5 years of continuous hospital experience and no working gap
- Primary Source Verification (PSV) report (Dataflow verification of credentials)
- Passing certificate of Qatar Prometric licensing exam
- DHP Evaluation Done
- Professional certifications such as BLS, ILS, or ACLS certificate
- Valid QID or Transferable Visa
