Home Care Registered Nurse

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders and care plans
• Perform clinical assessments, monitor patient condition, and document findings accurately
• Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, wound care, and other nursing procedures as required
• Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and home care techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, infection control policies, and company protocols
• Communicate effectively with physicians, care coordinators, and the multidisciplinary team
• Respond appropriately to patient emergencies and changes in clinical condition
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Valid **DHA Registered Nurse license** (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum **1–2 years of clinical nursing experience** (home care experience is an advantage)
• Strong clinical, assessment, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and culturally sensitive approach to care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred, if applicable)
