To support our continued growth in the UAE, we are looking for a
Skilled Home Automation Technician
who shares our passion for creative, tech-forward engineering.
The Role
You will be on the front lines of bringing smart home concepts to life, ensuring that our technical execution matches our creative vision.
Your focus will be:
· Precision Installation: Performing rack building, cable termination, and hardware mounting to the highest industry standards.
· Technical Execution: Installing, configuring, and commissioning high-end lighting control and integrated automation systems.
· Engineering Insight: Reading and interpreting technical drawings, AV schematics, and cable schedules to ensure site requirements are met perfectly.
· Problem Solving: Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with control systems, audio-visual equipment, and network infrastructure.
· Seamless Collaboration: Working respectfully and effectively within our diverse, cross-cultural team and with on-site contractors to ensure flawless project handovers.
What You Bring
The Right Foundation: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the home automation and AV industry.
· Technical Expertise: Proven experience with premium brands such as Lutron, Crestron, and KNX (Control4 experience is a plus).
· The "Maker" Mentality: A sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of AV cabling, low-voltage systems, and basic IP networking.
· Dynamic Communication: Fluent in English with the interpersonal skills required to provide exceptional service during high-touch client handovers.
· Local Presence: You must be currently based in Dubai / UAE.
· Preferred Qualities: A valid UAE Driving License is highly advantageous.
