Hiring – Maintenance Accountant
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Accountant / Property Maintenance Coordinator to oversee all aspects of property maintenance job orders, maintenance-related accounting activities, petty cash handling, supplier coordination, maintenance inspections, and reporting.
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of general accounting principles, ERP system-based accounting, and maintenance operations within the real estate or construction sector.
The candidate should demonstrate integrity, professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong desire for career growth.
Job Responsibilities Property Maintenance
- Review and monitor maintenance contracts.
- Review and sign job orders.
- Track job order progress and completion.
- Negotiate maintenance contracts with tenants.
- Prepare monthly maintenance reports.
- Prepare maintenance inspection reports.
- Handle maintenance petty cash accounts.
- Coordinate and manage suppliers and service providers.
Project & Job Cost Accounting
- Record maintenance-related petty cash transactions.
- Record supplier invoices in the accounting system.
- Prepare and review payment vouchers.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Record maintenance income receipts.
- Prepare property maintenance cost reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for all transactions.
Other Responsibilities
- Release cheques to suppliers.
- Review and follow up AMC contracts.
- Perform other accounting-related tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- ACCA / CPA / CMA qualification preferred.
- 5–10 years of accounting experience including GCC/Qatar experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in construction or real estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting.
- Experience in ERP accounting systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and speak Arabic and English.
- Real estate experience preferred.
- Procurement and supplier handling experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid QID with NOC preferred.
