Highway Maintenance Operator

Mission

Main Responsibilities

• As a Highway Maintenance Operator, you will be responsible for both equipment operation and physical labor, ensuring the SWCRR remains safe and operational year-round.

Key responsibilities include

• Operating and maintaining snowplows and other equipment Performing physical duties such as traffic accommodation setup, flagging, and installing signs, guardrails, and delineators. Completing daily inspections, minor repairs, and routine maintenance of equipment. Applying AHSL safety practices in all work and wearing required PPE. Working in all weather conditions, including long shifts (up to 12 hours), night shifts, and being on-call during winter. Assisting team members with additional tasks as needed.
