Role Overview
Securiguard is hiring experienced Retail Security Guards for premier locations across Toronto and the GTA.
The role focuses on preventing incidents, maintaining safe environments, and providing professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols and protect people, businesses, and communities.
- Manage crowds, resolve conflicts, and use discretion and sound judgment.
- Prepare professional daily and incident security reports.
- Conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations.
- Use two-way radios, dispatch systems, and CCTV software as applicable.
- Apply the Trespass to Property Act, the Criminal Code of Canada, and section 494(c).
Requirements
- One year of security experience is required.
- A valid Ontario Security License is required.
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR with AED are required.
- Applicants must be able to stand and patrol for up to 12 hours.
- Strong reporting, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and de-escalation abilities are required.
