Responsibilities
- Assist with soil sampling, borehole drilling, and field testing activities
- Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and testing materials
- Support geotechnical technicians during site investigations and laboratory sample handling
- Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to project sites
- Help maintain accurate records of field activities and sample identification
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Assist in site setup, traffic control, and other general labor tasks as required
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous construction, drilling, or fieldwork experience is an advantage
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy equipment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
