Helper/ Driver assistant for foodstuff delivery

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in loading and unloading foodstuff items from the vehicle.
• Ensure proper handling of products to avoid damage during transportation.
• Help in arranging and stacking items inside the delivery vehicle.
• Support timely delivery of goods to customers, restaurants, supermarkets, and warehouses.
• Verify delivery items against invoices or delivery notes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and storage areas.
• Assist in checking product quantities during dispatch and delivery.
• Follow company hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures.
• Help the driver with route deliveries and customer coordination when required.
• Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform other warehouse or delivery-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to lift items.
• Basic understanding of loading and unloading procedures.
• Ability to work long hours when required.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous experience in foodstuff delivery or warehouse work will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards is preferred.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor and warehouse work environment.
• May require lifting, carrying, and moving heavy cartons and food products.
• Flexible working hours depending on delivery schedules.
• Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
