Role Overview
Astrea Group is seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-focused Heavy Truck Driver.
The driver will transport materials, equipment, and goods across project sites within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles and trailers safely in compliance with UAE traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Transport materials, equipment, and goods between facilities, warehouses, factories, suppliers, and project sites.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and roadworthy.
- Complete deliveries accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- Complete trip records, mileage logs, fuel reports, and delivery documentation.
- Follow loading, unloading, and cargo-securing procedures.
- Comply with company HSE policies and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Hold a valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Trailer Driving License, Category No. 4; this is mandatory.
- Have at least two years of heavy vehicle driving experience in the UAE.
- Have good knowledge of UAE roads, traffic regulations, and heavy vehicle safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Have basic communication skills in English.
- Hindi communication ability is preferred, while Arabic is advantageous.
- Be physically fit, reliable, punctual, and committed to high safety standards.
- Additional UAE driving license categories 3, 6, or 8 are advantageous.
