**Job Title:** Heavy Truck Driver – Waste Transport
Company Overview
**ZONE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING** is a leader in sustainable waste management solutions, committed to excellence and timely services.
We are looking for experienced and responsible heavy truck drivers to join our team for transporting waste materials from client locations to designated landfills or recycling centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to safely transport waste from client sites to landfill or disposal facilities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations while on the road and at loading/unloading sites.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functionality and compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, delivery notes, and waste transport documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure secure and proper loading of waste materials to prevent spills or accidents during transit.
Job Requirements
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in operating heavy trucks, preferably in waste transportation or similar industries.
- Knowledge of local and regional roadways and landfill locations.
- Physical ability to lift and secure heavy materials as needed.
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle checks and documentation accuracy.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in waste management or similar field.
- Certification in defensive driving or related safety courses.
- Familiarity with waste transport regulations.
