Role Overview
BASH is seeking an experienced and responsible Heavy Driver for its Waste Management team in Doha, Qatar.
The role operates heavy waste-management vehicles and supports scheduled collection and transport activities.
Job Requirements
- Valid Qatar Heavy Driving License.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Heavy Driver.
- Waste management, transportation, or similar industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with garbage collection trucks, waste trucks, hook-lift or skip loaders, or similar vehicles is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of roads and locations across Qatar.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle safety and daily inspection procedures.
- Physical fitness for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow schedules, routes, and instructions.
- Previous Qatar experience and immediate availability are preferred.
Main Responsibilities
- Safely operate the assigned heavy waste-management vehicle.
- Collect and transport waste according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks before starting work.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
- Follow Qatar traffic laws, company safety procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Ensure waste is collected, transported, and disposed of at designated locations.
- Coordinate with waste collection crews and supervisors during daily operations.
- Maintain trip, collection-point, and vehicle-activity records when required.
- Perform other position-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person and involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
