Role Description

  • This full time, on site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role is based in Hyderabad.
  • The technician will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems used in shipbuilding and related industrial facilities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Daily tasks include diagnosing system malfunctions, performing inspections, conducting preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
  • The role also involves working with plumbing and electrical connections related to HVAC systems, documenting work performed, and collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to meet project timelines.
  • The technician is expected to follow company procedures, adhere to regulatory requirements, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems, including fault diagnosis and corrective action.
  • Candidates should possess plumbing skills related to HVAC installations, piping, and system connections.
  • Candidates should possess preventive maintenance skills for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of electricity and safe work practices for electrical components in HVAC systems.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with EPA or equivalent environmental and safety regulations related to refrigerants and emissions.
  • Diploma or certification in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience in industrial, marine, or shipyard environments will be an advantage.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, follow work instructions, and use diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to safety, ability to work in physically demanding conditions, and willingness to work shifts as required.
