Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform inspection, cleaning, and replacement of filters, coils, and other components
- Respond to service requests and perform preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot system issues and document work performed
- Advise customers on proper system use, energy efficient operation, and recommended repairs
- Follow safety standards and company procedures
- Collaborate with remote support team and communicate with dispatch and customers
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems
- Practical experience with plumbing and basic mechanical systems
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Understanding of electricity and safe handling of electrical components
- Relevant EPA or equivalent certification for handling refrigerants
- Previous hands on experience as an HVAC technician
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Vocational training or technical diploma in HVAC or related field
