Heated Process and Size Reduction Operator

· Chemical Processing or Advanced Materials

· Ideally 1-3 years’ experience as a fully qualified operator on rotating equipment or jacketed vessels or similar assets

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Write routine reports and correspondence.

Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Use a computer for basic functions including but not limited to email, word processing, spreadsheet data entry, and basic spreadsheet calculations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: none

Certificates and Licenses: Licensed fork truck driver.

This role requires ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes) always in the production area.

This role requires standing for extended periods of time, the ability to lift 50 lbs., identify colors, and work in open-air & outdoor areas.
