About the Role
Biteline seeks a hands-on sourcing manager to source healthcare products from China and manage them through compliance, production, QC, and delivery into UK warehouses. Requires 3+ years sourcing from China, healthcare product experience, and knowledge of CE/UKCA compliance.

Responsibilities
- Source products from China using Alibaba and other established supplier networks
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs) and commercial terms
- Build long term relationships with trusted Chinese manufacturers
- Manage the complete supplier lifecycle from quotation through to repeat production
- Work with suppliers to resolve product quality issues before shipment
- Manage third party quality inspections and ideally work with trusted inspection partners in China
- Ensure products meet UK healthcare requirements, including CE Marking and UKCA compliance where applicable
- Review technical documentation and work with suppliers to resolve compliance issues
- Manage bespoke packaging projects, including artwork approval, colour accuracy, print quality and packaging specifications
- Obtain detailed quotations from UK fulfilment centres and warehouses, comparing costs and making commercial recommendations
- Manage stock forecasting, inventory levels and reorder planning
- Obtain competitive freight and container quotations and understand landed cost calculations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience sourcing products directly from China
- Extensive experience using Alibaba and similar sourcing platforms
- Experience negotiating MOQs, pricing, production schedules and supplier contracts
- Healthcare, medical or dental product sourcing experience is strongly preferred
- Practical experience with CE Marking and/or UKCA compliance
- Experience reviewing technical documentation and supplier quality documentation
- Strong quality control experience, including working with inspection companies before shipment
- Experience managing inventory, stock control and demand forecasting
- Demonstrable experience obtaining and comparing UK warehouse and fulfilment quotations
- Good understanding of freight pricing, container rates and landed cost calculations
- Excellent English communication skills with confidence dealing directly with overseas suppliers
- Able to work independently and take ownership of the entire sourcing process

Role Overview
- This role is ideal for someone who has sourced products directly from Chinese manufacturers and managed them through compliance, production, quality control and delivery into UK warehouses. It is not a freight forwarding, shipping or port operations role.

Pay
- AED 3,657.38 AED 8,000.00 per month
