About Shark Wave

  • We are introducing a next generation infection prevention platform to the UAE and GCC healthcare markets.
  • Our portfolio includes innovative hypochlorous acid (HOCl) technologies for hand hygiene, infection prevention, environmental disinfection, healthcare, commercial, and specialist applications.

The Role

  • The Healthcare Business Development Director will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for Shark Wave's healthcare portfolio, with an initial focus on healthcare and infection prevention solutions.
  • This is a highly visible role with responsibility for opening strategic accounts, building key relationships, generating revenue, and establishing long term partnerships with healthcare providers, government organisations, distributors, and procurement groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the UAE and GCC healthcare growth strategy.
  • Identify, engage, and secure opportunities within government and private healthcare sectors.
  • Build relationships with healthcare decision makers, procurement teams, infection prevention specialists, nursing leadership, and hospital management.
  • Drive product evaluations, trials, pilot programmes, and commercial rollouts.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with distributors, healthcare groups, and channel partners.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial engagement through to contract award.
  • Represent Shark Wave at healthcare conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Work closely with technical, regulatory, and operational teams to support customer requirements.
  • Deliver regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and commercial reporting.
  • Support expansion into additional GCC markets as opportunities develop.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience selling into healthcare organisations within the UAE.
  • An established network within healthcare providers, hospital groups, government healthcare organisations, or healthcare procurement channels.
  • A strong track record of generating and closing new business opportunities.
  • Experience managing strategic accounts and complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
  • The ability to operate independently and build a market from the ground up.
  • Strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications
