Responsibilities
- Support requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Document business requirements, process flows, and user stories
- Assist with healthcare privacy, consent, and personal health information workflow documentation
- Support analysis related to HIC, PHIPA, access management, and privacy requirements
- Maintain requirements traceability, action logs, and documentation updates
- Assist with testing, defect tracking, and business validation
- Prepare clear documentation, summaries, and meeting notes
- Work closely with senior BAs, privacy teams, business teams, and technical delivery teams
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Junior Business Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst
- Knowledge or exposure to PHIPA, healthcare privacy, personal health information, or consent related processes
- Understanding of Health Information Custodian (HIC) concepts is an asset
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements
- Experience preparing or supporting BRDs/SRDs, user stories, process flows, meeting notes, traceability matrices, test scenarios
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with business, privacy, healthcare, and technical stakeholders
- Must be available to work onsite/hybrid in Toronto, Ontario

Overview
- We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst with healthcare, privacy, and documentation experience to support digital health and healthcare information initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have exposure to PHIPA, personal health information, consent, privacy workflows, and Health Information Custodian concepts.
Must Haves
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Junior Business Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst
- Knowledge or exposure to PHIPA, healthcare privacy, personal health information, or consent related processes
- Understanding of Health Information Custodian — HIC concepts is an asset
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements

Pay
- CAD 50,005.42 CAD 110,558.51 per year
