About the Role
Prudent Qatar is hiring an on-site HSE Officer for a 2-month temporary role in Doha. The officer will develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies, conduct site inspections and risk assessments, and maintain HSE documentation.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures
- Maintain HSE documentation and prepare compliance and performance reports
- Support audits and collaborate with project teams and management to improve HSE performance
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Workplace Safety principles
- Practical experience in EHS and Occupational Health, including risk assessment and incident investigation
- Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with Qatar and GCC HSE regulations in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or utilities is an advantage
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work on site and collaborate in a multicultural team
- Kahramaa approval preferred

Role Description
- On site Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer role based in Doha, Qatar. The HSE Officer will develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in alignment with local regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Identifying hazards and recommending corrective and preventive measures
- Maintaining HSE documentation
- Preparing compliance and performance reports
- Supporting audits
- Collaborating with project teams and management to continuously improve HSE performance
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Workplace Safety principles
- Practical experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health
- Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with Qatar and GCC HSE regulations and industry best practices in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or utilities is an advantage
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Proven ability to work on site, prioritize tasks, respond to operational needs, and collaborate effectively in a multicultural team
