Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with local regulations and company standards
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections; identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver safety training to employees
- Maintain incident and accident records, investigate safety related events
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and environmental requirements
- Collaborate with operations and management teams to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety
- Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles
- Understanding of Occupational Health requirements
- Relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent
- Experience in developing and implementing HSE policies, conducting safety trainings, and performing audits and inspections
- Familiarity with local Dubai and UAE HSE regulations
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Ability to work on site, manage multiple tasks, and respond promptly to safety concerns
