Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies across project sites
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
- Conduct safety inspections and audits
- Perform risk assessments, report hazards, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation
- Participate in incident investigations
- Support the development of HSE training and awareness programs for project teams
- Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and management staff to promote a strong safety culture
Requirements
- ADNOC project experience
- Strong Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills with practical experience on construction or engineering project sites
- Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health skills, including risk assessment, incident reporting, emergency response plan and preventive measures
- Recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline are beneficial
- Experience in the oil and gas, infrastructure, or major building sectors, especially within the UAE or GCC region, is an advantage
- Strong communication and reporting skills, ability to train and coach site personnel, and proactive approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with local HSE legislation, ADNOC standards, and ISO based management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) is desirable

Role Description
- The Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate.
- The role involves monitoring and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies across project sites, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Day to day tasks include conducting safety inspections and audits, performing risk assessments, reporting hazards, and recommending corrective actions.
- The HSE Officer will prepare and maintain safety documentation, participate in incident investigations, and support the development of HSE training and awareness programs for project teams.
- This role collaborates closely with engineering, construction, and management staff to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Qualifications
