Responsibilities
- Drive a proactive safety culture by engaging leaders, team members and contractors
- Ensure compliance with Kinrise HSE standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee risk and hazard management, including assessments, investigations, corrective actions and audits
- Oversee occupational health, wellness and hygiene programs
- Manage end to end workers’ compensation claims and early intervention processes
- Act as key liaison between injured workers, treatment providers, insurers and internal stakeholders
- Manage site environmental compliance, including EPA licences and trade waste requirements
- Lead local HSE improvement programs, including Never Walk By initiatives
- Enhance return to work outcomes and support OES maturity across HSE modules
- Contribute to decision making on key operational issues
- Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing safety programs in FMCG manufacturing
- Significant experience in workplace rehabilitation and return to work injury management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical problem solving ability and confidence managing risk and complexity
- Results driven mindset with ability to set and achieve ambitious targets
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A collaborative approach and alignment with Kinrise values

About The Role

- Based primarily at our Dandenong South with travel to Braeside, and Keysborough as required, this role champions a strong safety, health and environmental culture across our manufacturing sites.
