Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates for a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer.
The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and managing workplace safety programs.
Additional duties include monitoring safety performance, conducting safety audits, developing training programs, and advising management on best practices to maintain a secure and sustainable work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and application of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and regulations
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits
- Skills in developing and delivering effective workplace safety training programs
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and compliance with regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to document and present findings effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to dynamic environments, and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in sectors such as Energy, Construction, or Telecommunications is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Familiarity with local UAE HSE regulations and standards is a strong asset
