Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- NEBOSH certification
- At least 2 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment or similar role
- Good knowledge of HSE regulations
- Ability to assess risks and implement preventive measures
- Strong training, awareness, and reporting skills
- Physically fit for project site work

Job Summary
- The HSE Officer is responsible for promoting and strengthening the Health, Safety, and Environment culture at project sites, and ensuring that all personnel comply with approved safety policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and plan all project activities from a health and safety perspective.
- Develop emergency procedures and ensure their effectiveness through regular testing and drills.
- Ensure availability of safety tools and equipment, verify their validity, and monitor them on a regular basis.
- Conduct necessary training programs for workers and staff involved in project execution at site.
- Ensure that work sites are safe and free from hazards, install warning signs and safety instructions before starting work, and stop any unsafe activities.
- Investigate accidents and incidents occurring at work sites, prepare necessary reports, and define corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Prepare safety plans for projects executed by the company and maintain them within the company’s safety manual.
Minimum Requirements
- Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and requirements.
- Ability to assess risks and implement appropriate preventive measures.
- Strong skills in training, awareness, and reporting.
- Ability to investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and propose solutions.
- Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to implement and monitor safety requirements at project sites.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Certified safety qualification such as NEBOSH.
Working Conditions
- Field based work at project sites across different regions of the Kingdom.
Required Experience
- At least two (2) years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment or a similar role.
Physical Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of working in project and site environments.
