Role Overview
- The HSE Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental policies within the company's operations.
- This role ensures compliance with all relevant UAE and international safety regulations, while proactively reducing hazards and fostering a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive HSE programs and initiatives.
- Ensure the organization's adherence to UAE and international HSE regulations, including aviation specific safety standards, OSHA, and environmental legislation.
- Oversee and support the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Lead safety workshops and campaigns to promote HSE awareness.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on HSE performance.
- Act as the primary technical expert on safety matters, conducting detailed risk assessments and safety audits.
- Perform investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes.
- Provide technical guidance on environmental policies related to waste management and pollution prevention.
- Develop and deliver technical training to staff on HSE topics.
- Recommend engineering solutions and process changes to minimize safety risks.
