Serve as a primary support resource for Epic, the Department of Public Health’s electronic health record (EHR) system.
Assist with the configuration, maintenance, testing, and optimization of Epic workflows and system functionality.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data maintained within Epic and related health information systems.
Provide daily technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff utilizing Epic, integrated applications, and related public health data systems.
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and informatics teams to evaluate workflows and support process improvements aligned with Epic system capabilities.
Support system upgrades, implementations, training activities, and issue resolution related to Epic and associated technologies.
Develop and maintain system documentation, reports, dashboards, data extracts, and data validation processes to support operational, leadership, and regulatory requirements.
Perform routine data quality audits and validation checks to maintain data integrity and compliance.
Create high-quality data visualization products and informatics materials for consumption by decision makers and to support public-facing data efforts.
