Role Description
This full-time hybrid role, based in Dubai, is for a Head Technician specializing in Kees van der Westen espresso machines.
The Head Technician will manage installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring the highest operational performance of espresso machines.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine servicing, ensuring customer satisfaction, and advising clients on machine optimization.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining espresso machines, with a focus on Kees van der Westen models.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving mechanical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge of water telemetry systems and IoT-based equipment solutions in the coffee industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interface with clients and provide technical guidance.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing priorities in a hybrid work environment.
- Relevant technical certification or hands-on experience in espresso machine maintenance is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic IT systems to manage machine setups and IoT integrations.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-site installations and service calls.
- Passion for specialty coffee and familiarity with the coffee industry is a plus.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
