Blockliz is seeking a Head of Trading Operations to lead technical trading infrastructure for a Forex brokerage. The role requires hands-on experience with MT5, liquidity providers, bridges, and brokerage operations.

Responsibilities
- Manage and administer MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading servers.
- Configure and maintain trading instruments, symbols, leverage, commissions, swaps, spreads, and trading sessions.
- Integrate and manage liquidity providers through bridges such as OneZero, PrimeXM, Your Bourse, or similar technologies.
- Monitor execution quality, pricing, latency, and overall trading performance.
- Configure and maintain A Book and B Book routing strategies.
- Monitor client trading activity, exposure, and risk.
- Coordinate with liquidity providers to resolve pricing or execution issues.
- Work closely with developers on API integrations, automation, and platform enhancements.
- Ensure trading systems remain operational with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot trading infrastructure, bridge connectivity, and MT5 related issues.
- Assist in onboarding new liquidity providers and trading technologies.
- Maintain documentation for trading infrastructure and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with a Forex or CFD brokerage
- Strong experience administering MetaTrader 5 (MT5)
- Experience with bridge solutions such as OneZero, PrimeXM, Your Bourse, or equivalent
- Solid understanding of FIX API connectivity
- Experience working with liquidity providers and pricing feeds
- Strong knowledge of A Book, B Book, hybrid execution models, and risk management
- Experience configuring trading symbols, markups, swaps, commissions, and leverage
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment

About the Role
