The Head of Technology will lead the overall technology vision and execution for the organization.
The role is explicitly part-time and remote.
The position oversees IT strategy, infrastructure, security, compliance, and technology support for financial products and services.
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve IT operations, incident response, and service reliability.
- Guide technology roadmaps and implement technology best practices.
- Implement data security and compliance practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals.
- Identify and integrate tools and platforms to improve client experience and internal productivity.
- Mentor technical contributors or vendors involved in IT projects.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Information Technology with hands-on experience in systems, networks, and application environments.
- Demonstrated skills in IT management and IT operations.
- Proven ability to define and execute IT strategy in a growing financial services environment.
- Experience managing infrastructure, cloud services, security frameworks, and financial-platform integrations.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and relevant regulatory considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional Capabilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time leadership role.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management with non-technical teams.
- Advanced certifications or fintech or financial-services experience are advantageous.
