About the Role
Panda Retail Company is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Excellence to lead continuous improvement and control across all supply chain functions. The role involves managing SC income, P&L, capacity, projects, and standardization.

Responsibilities
- Lead identifying Supply Chain objectives, financial budgets, and organizational structure in line with company strategy
- Achieve targeted SC income through approving new suppliers' contracts, negotiating SC SLAs, and allocating SC OPEX
- Control Supply Chain spending within budgeted CAPEX and OPEX across all SC functions
- Optimize Supply Chain physical capacity utilization through controlling items listing, re activation, delisting, and DC inventory level
- Monitor operational performance and KRIs across all SC functions and lead corrective action plans
- Partner with commercial teams to achieve company sales, private label sales, and net profit targets
- Manage agreed SC projects and represent Supply Chain in cross functional projects
- Identify, prioritize, manage and monitor all Supply Chain improvement initiatives
- Manage resolution of audit findings and risk review across all Supply Chain functions
- Standardize and monitor business activities across all Supply Chain functions to improve performance and eliminate waste
- Build and update Supply Chain standard operating procedures
- Build, update and maintain Supply Chain reports, KPIs and dashboards
Requirements
- Post bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, science, or relevant field
- 10+ years successful track record of retail experience in SC and commercial functions
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional teams without authority
- Strategic business acumen with outstanding analytical and organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking and process driven mentality
- Ability to manage complex business topics with strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Coaching and developing individuals
- Language proficiency in both English and Arabic

Job Purpose
- Lead the end to end continuous improvement and control activities across all supply chain functions to improve performance, eliminate waste, and control SC spending.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead identifying the Supply Chain objectives, financial budgets, and organizational structure in line with the company strategy.
- Achieve targeted SC income through approving new suppliers’ contracts, negotiating SC SLAs, allocating SC OPEX, and more.
- Control the Supply Chain spending within budgeted expenditure elements (CAPEX & OPEX) across the entire SC functions.
- Optimize Supply Chain physical capacity utilization through controlling items listing, re activation, delisting, DC/DSD conversion, and DC inventory level.
- Monitor the operational performance and KRIs across all SC functions and lead corrective action plans.
- Partner with the commercial teams to achieve company sales, private label sales, importation range sales, and net profit targets.
- Manage the agreed SC projects and represent the Supply Chain team in cross functional projects.
- Identify, prioritize, manage and monitor all Supply Chain improvement initiatives.
- Manage the resolution of audit findings and risk review across all Supply Chain functions.
- Investigate raised concerns against Supply Chain activities and manage business conflicts.
- Standardize and monitor the business activities across all Supply Chain functions.
- Build and update Supply Chain standard operating procedures.
Education
- Post bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, science, or other relevant field with equivalent experience.
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- +10 years successful track record of retail experience in SC and commercial functions.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional teams without authority.
- Strategic business acumen with outstanding analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong critical thinking & process driven mentality.
- Ability to manage complex business topics with strong decision making and problem solving skills.
- Coaching and developing individuals in a way that maintains effective working relationships.
- Language (Both English and Arabic).
