Role Purpose
- To oversee the success of Group’s Supply Chain in support of its growth and focus on strategic planning in provision of its goals by measuring progress and adjusting processes accordingly in order to meet group operations’ needs.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of group’s corporate strategy and lead the functional strategy implementation.
- Lead the team through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Oversee the function’s daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes.
- Lead the development and consolidation of the functional budget and monitor financial performance.
- Lead procurement activities, approve supplier selection, and facilitate tendering and evaluation process.
- Lead supply chain optimization strategy and performance reviews of third party service providers.
- Lead warehousing management, inventory management best practices, and key metrics for operations.
- Review reports, present to top management, and oversee policies and procedures.
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or relevant field.
- Certification in Supply Chain is preferable.
- Proficiency in English & Arabic is a must.
- 20 years of relevant experience out of which 12 in a managerial role.
- Generic Skills: Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Computer literacy (Research Engines, ERP).
