Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic and operational management of the Secondary School
- Drive improvements in teaching, learning, assessment, and student achievement
- Ensure high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, attendance, and student wellbeing
- Lead curriculum implementation across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including GCSE and A Level programmes
- Coach and develop middle leaders through effective performance management and professional development
- Monitor academic performance using data to inform interventions and raise standards
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional growth
- Strengthen partnerships with parents and the wider school community
- Support whole school improvement planning and contribute to successful inspection readiness
- Ensure compliance with KHDA requirements and other relevant UAE regulatory expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject (Master's preferred)
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent)
- Proven leadership experience within a British curriculum secondary school
- Strong record of improving teaching quality and student outcomes
- Experience leading curriculum development, assessment, quality assurance, and school improvement initiatives
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Sound understanding of English National Curriculum, GCSE and A Level programmes
- Experience within UAE education sector is highly desirable
