Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies and procedures across NT.Payments' operations
- Lead safety strategy and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
- Conduct risk assessments, organize safety audits and inspections
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures
- Design and deliver safety training programs
- Maintain safety documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate safety into business decisions
- Lead emergency preparedness planning and provide updates to senior leadership
Requirements
- Strong background in occupational health and safety management, including policy development, risk assessment, and incident investigation
- Experience implementing safety standards, compliance frameworks, and audit processes in operational or field based environments
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for diverse teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in safety reporting, data analysis, and use of digital tools to track safety indicators
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred
- Ability to work on site in Ajman and adapt to a multicultural environment

Role Description
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies and procedures across NT.Payments’ operations.
- Lead the safety strategy, ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards, and maintain a culture of safety in offices, warehouses, and field operations.
- Conduct risk assessments, organize safety audits and inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Design and deliver safety training programs, maintain safety documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate safety considerations into business decisions.
- Manage safety communication, lead emergency preparedness planning, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on safety performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong background in occupational health and safety management, including policy development, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Experience implementing safety standards, compliance frameworks, and audit processes in operational or field based environments.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence safety culture at all levels.
- Proficiency in safety reporting, data analysis, and the use of digital tools or software to track safety indicators and trends.
- Experience in payments, fintech, logistics, or similar high activity sectors is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
- Proven ability to work on site in Ajman, adapt to a multicultural environment, and collaborate effectively with teams representing multiple nationalities.
