9X Markets is seeking an experienced Head of Risk to lead the firm's trading-risk framework, market-exposure controls, and MT5 risk operations. The role involves monitoring live exposure, margin utilisation, pricing, hedging, and liquidity provider performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead day to day oversight of MT5 trading risk and brokerage risk operations
- Monitor live client positions, net market exposure, margin utilisation, trading volumes and execution quality
- Establish and maintain risk limits across symbols, asset classes, client groups, strategies, liquidity providers and legal entities
- Configure and maintain MT5 symbols, groups, spreads, commissions, swaps, mark ups, leverage, margin requirements and trading sessions
- Assess when market exposure should be retained, reduced, hedged or routed externally in accordance with approved risk limits
- Oversee manual and automated hedging, exposure controls and risk routing processes
- Monitor concentration risk, directional risk, overnight exposure, gap risk and volatility related exposure
- Monitor pricing feeds, spread quality, latency, slippage, rejection rates, fill ratios and execution costs
- Identify and manage liquidity risk arising from pricing interruptions, reduced market depth, widening spreads or liquidity provider disruption
- Manage relationships with liquidity providers, prime brokers, bridge providers and trading technology vendors
- Investigate rejected orders, off market prices, execution delays, incorrect swaps, margin discrepancies and pricing interruptions
- Review disputed trades using MT5 logs, bridge logs, tick data, liquidity provider records and execution reports
Requirements
- Extensive experience in market risk, trading risk, brokerage risk, trade execution or exposure management within an FX, CFD or multi asset brokerage
- Strong hands on experience with MetaTrader 5 Administrator, Manager and risk management functionality
- Proven experience configuring MT5 symbols, groups, spreads, commissions, swaps, leverage, margin and execution settings
- Strong understanding of market exposure, liquidity risk, execution risk, margin risk and trading risk controls
- Practical experience with liquidity bridges, aggregators, pricing feeds, exposure routing and liquidity provider integrations
- Strong knowledge of FX, metals, indices, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies and CFD products
- Demonstrated experience in exposure monitoring, hedging, stress testing and risk limit management
- Strong understanding of order types, margin calculations, stop out processes, swaps, rollovers and corporate actions
- Experience identifying latency exploitation, toxic flow, abusive trading, pricing irregularities and unusual trading behaviour
- Ability to analyse MT5 logs, bridge logs, tick data, execution reports and liquidity provider statements
- Strong understanding of best execution, conflicts of interest, market conduct, regulatory reporting and recordkeeping requirements
- Strong analytical, quantitative and decision making skills

- Strong understanding of market exposure, liquidity risk, execution risk, margin risk and trading risk controls
