Role Definition
The Head of Projects has executive accountability for project execution, site operations, team leadership, and project profitability.
The role covers commercial workspace contracts and a portfolio scaling from 5 to more than 20 concurrent projects.
Candidates must have senior operations leadership experience in commercial office fit-outs or turnkey interior architecture.
Execution Leadership
- Direct Project Managers, Site Engineers, and QA/QC/HSE Officers across all active sites.
- Translate design and technical downloads into master execution schedules.
- Build execution capacity to handle company-wide project volumes.
- Conduct site audits, milestone reviews, and risk assessments.
P&L and Financial Governance
- Control labor overheads and execution expenses to protect project gross margins.
- Authorize contractor, subcontractor, and vendor payouts based on verified progress and quality compliance.
- Secure client approval for out-of-scope variation orders.
- Manage project billing milestones with Finance to support positive cash flow.
