Job Purpose
Oversee IT systems operations across the Bank’s Saudi branches and implement agreed IT plans.
Support the development and enhancement of technology infrastructure required for Bank operations.
Oversee the availability, performance, continuity, and efficiency of banking systems, payment platforms, applications, databases, networks, and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop IT policies and procedures for Saudi branches in alignment with the Bank’s IT direction and Head Office IT.
- Implement approved IT strategy, annual objectives, and operational plans within agreed budgets.
- Lead and supervise the IT team, set objectives, monitor performance, evaluate employees, and support professional development.
- Evaluate IT systems, hardware, services, and technology solutions, including technical and financial vendor assessments.
- Oversee backups, business continuity, the primary data center, disaster recovery site, connectivity, and data synchronization.
- Assess business and user requirements and coordinate development and enhancement of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Monitor information systems, communication platforms, operating systems, networks, and related infrastructure.
- Analyze incidents, prepare reports, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Apply information security, confidentiality, and protection measures across systems, devices, and networks.
- Manage technology vendors and service providers against contracts, service requirements, and timelines.
- Ensure daily IT operations follow approved policies, procedures, controls, and delegated authorities.
- Review operational and audit reports and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, network infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of banking systems and payment platforms.
- Knowledge of database management and supporting programming languages.
- Understanding of electronic banking and technology operations risks.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, regulatory requirements, and relevant legal frameworks.
- Experience in budget planning and management.
