Job Overview
Advokatipz Legal Doha is seeking a highly experienced **Head of Internal Audit** to lead internal audit operations and strengthen governance, compliance, and risk management practices.
This role is ideal for a strategic audit professional with expertise in financial controls, operational audits, and regulatory compliance.
The Head of Internal Audit will oversee audit programs, identify improvement opportunities, and support organizational transparency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal audit strategies, frameworks, and annual audit plans.
- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across the organization.
- Evaluate internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices.
- Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations for executive leadership.
- Monitor corrective action plans and follow-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards.
- Collaborate with departments to improve operational efficiency and controls.
- Lead and mentor internal audit teams.
- Support organizational risk management and policy development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of audit standards, governance frameworks, and financial controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- CPA, CIA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
