This is a part-time, remote role for the Head of Human Resource at the IPM Cell, IC&SR, IIT Madras.

The role designs and oversees HR policies and processes aligned with institutional guidelines and best practices.

Manage employee relations and support recruitment and onboarding activities.
Advise on performance management and professional development initiatives.
Guide compliance with labor and employment laws relevant to the organization.
Advise leadership on staffing, workforce planning, and organizational culture.
Maintain HR documentation and monitor HR metrics.
Collaborate with management to support a fair, inclusive, and transparent work environment.

Strong Human Resources and HR Management skills with experience in strategic and operational HR functions are required.
Knowledge of labor and employment law and the ability to ensure regulatory compliance in HR practices are required.
Experience developing and implementing HR policies tailored to organizational needs is required.
Experience in employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and fostering a positive work culture, is required.
A master’s degree or postgraduate diploma in Human Resources, Management, or a related field is preferred.
