About the Role
MyPT seeks a Head of Group Exercise to lead the Group Exercise division across all clubs in the UAE. Reporting to the CEO, this role oversees strategy, programming, instructor recruitment and development, commercial performance, and technology integration.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Group Exercise strategy across all clubs
- Recruit, onboard, assess, mentor and manage full time and freelance instructors
- Build a UAE wide freelance instructor network
- Develop timetables and introduce world class fitness formats
- Create proprietary MyPT Group Exercise formats and instructor certification pathways
- Plan fitness festivals, launch events, activations, workshops, masterclasses and community events
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Technology teams
- Manage GX through MyPT Connect including scheduling, attendance, reporting and analytics
- Conduct audits and maintain premium standards across all clubs
- Manage departmental budgets, payroll, freelance costs and performance KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- CPR & First Aid certification
- REPs UAE (preferred)
- Mandatory Les Mills Certification
- Additional certifications such as MOSSA, Radical Fitness, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, TRX, Indoor Cycling, Functional Training or equivalent
- Proven experience in group exercise leadership

Position Summary
- Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Group Exercise will lead the complete Group Exercise division across all MyPT clubs.
- The role is responsible for strategy, programming, instructor recruitment and development, innovation, commercial performance, quality assurance, events, activations, and technology integration through MyPT Connect.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Group Exercise strategy across all clubs.
- Recruit, onboard, assess, mentor and manage full time and freelance instructors.
- Build a UAE wide freelance instructor network.
- Develop timetables and introduce world class fitness formats.
- Create proprietary MyPT Group Exercise formats and instructor certification pathways.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- CPR & First Aid
- REPs UAE (preferred)
- Mandatory Les Mills Certification

Our Expectations
- Hold current Les Mills certification and other recognised GX certifications.
- Assess instructors on technical ability, coaching, choreography, communication and safety.
- Build and maintain freelance instructor coverage across the Emirates.
- Create exclusive MyPT signature class formats and instructor manuals.
- Stay ahead of global fitness trends.
- Plan and deliver events, activations and launches.
- Drive member engagement, retention and commercial performance.
- Lead with professionalism, innovation and accountability.
- Travel across the UAE as required.
Compensation
- AED 16,000 per month + Performance Based Bonus & Incentives based on KPIs, innovation, events, member engagement and departmental performance.
