Role overview
Egis Group is seeking a Head of Geotechnical Engineering for major engineering and infrastructure projects.
The role covers transportation, infrastructure, buildings, and tunnelling projects and combines technical leadership with business and client responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering teams across transportation, infrastructure, buildings, and tunnelling projects.
- Provide technical oversight for investigations, foundation design, slope stability, retaining structures, ground improvement, and earthworks.
- Develop business strategy, client relationships, and project delivery excellence.
- Review and approve geotechnical reports, designs, and risk assessments.
- Mentor senior engineers and drive technical capability growth.
- Support bids, proposals, and business development initiatives.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience with large infrastructure, transportation, highways, rail, metro, or tunnelling projects.
- Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with industry-standard geotechnical software.
- International project exposure, including the Middle East, UK, Canada, or Australia, is preferred.
