Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of group’s corporate strategy and lead the development of the functional strategy
- Lead the team of direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning
- Oversee and direct the Finance Function’s daily operations, including consolidated financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, tax planning, treasury management, and performance monitoring
- Lead the development and consolidation of the functional budget and monitor financial performance
- Authorise strategic financial initiatives and ensure adequate reporting tools for decision making
- Oversee the planning and control of group’s treasury and negotiation with financial institutions
- Define an optimum capital structure to minimize cost of capital
- Lead group’s accounting activities ensuring maintenance of general ledger and compliance with IFRS
- Lead the development and ensure implementation of internal financial controls
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external auditors, principals, and banks
- Oversee the proper development, implementation, and communication of the function’s policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- CFA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA is required
- Proficiency in English & Arabic is a must
- 12 years of relevant experience out of which 5 in a managerial role
- Highly Expertise in macroeconomics, currency risk mitigation, cross functional leadership, and multi sector financial modelling
- Excellent knowledge in GAAP and IFRS

ROLE PURPOSE
- To lead the effective and efficient management of the Finance Function by providing strategic financial leadership, policies, controls, and governance frameworks that support the achievement of Group’s vision, mission, and business objectives.
- Also to serve as a strategic business partner to the Executive Board, directing the Group’s overall financial strategy, capital allocation, investment decisions, risk management, and financial performance across its diverse portfolio of businesses, including FMCG, agriculture, automotive, and indust
- The role ensures sustainable growth, profitability, operational excellence, and long term value creation for shareholders and stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of financial stewardship and corporate governance.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the development of group’s corporate strategy and to the derivation of its strategic plans while leading the development of the functional strategy.
- Lead the team of direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Oversee and direct the Finance Function’s daily operations by providing leadership, financial expertise, and effective coordination across all business units.
- Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, tax planning, treasury management, and performance monitoring.
- Lead the development and consolidation of the functional budget and monitor the function’s financial performance versus the budget.
- Authorise strategic financial initiatives for group and ensure adequate reporting tools are available.
- Lead the Finance & Accounting (F&A) MIS department in providing regular Corporate and Business Unit level performance reports.
- Lead the development of an effective and up to date financial management information system.
- Oversee the planning and control of group’s treasury and negotiation of arrangements with financial institutions.
- Define an optimum capital structure to minimize the cost of capital.
- Oversee and review the process of business and financial planning, budgeting and budget monitoring.
- Lead group’s accounting activities/transactions ensuring maintenance of group’s general ledger and closing of all subsidiary accounts.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- CFA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA is required.
- Proficiency in English & Arabic is a must.
- 12 years of relevant experience out of which 5 in a managerial role.
- Highly Expertise in macroeconomics, currency risk mitigation, cross functional leadership, and multi sector financial modelling.
