Role description
The Head of Development oversees planning, execution, and delivery of web and app development projects.
The role ensures technical quality and alignment with client needs.
This is a part-time role based in Abu Dhabi with flexibility to work from home for part of the schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the development team.
- Coordinate with project managers and designers.
- Set development standards and best practices.
- Review technical architectures and resolve complex development issues.
- Guide research and development initiatives.
- Contribute to resource planning and project timelines.
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the agency's digital innovation goals.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills for assessing project requirements, system performance, and technical risks.
- Proven experience in team leadership and team management within a development or technical environment.
- Hands-on project management experience, including scoping, planning, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
