Job Description
**Bornav Services** is seeking a visionary and technically elite **Head of Data Science** to lead our analytics division from our headquarters in the iconic **West Bay Towers**.
In this executive-level role, you will be the primary architect of our data strategy, transforming vast datasets into proprietary intelligence that drives high-stakes business decisions.
We are looking for a leader who breathes machine learning and statistical theory but speaks the language of business.
You will lead a sophisticated team of data scientists and engineers to build, deploy, and scale AI models that redefine efficiency for our global client base.

Key Responsibilities
- **Strategic Leadership:** Define the long-term AI and Data Science roadmap, aligning technical innovation with Bornav Services' commercial growth targets.
- **Model Excellence:** Oversee the development of cutting-edge predictive models, NLP frameworks, and computer vision solutions.
- **Team Orchestration:** Recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class team of PhD-level data scientists and ML engineers.
- **Executive Advisory:** Act as the internal authority on data ethics, AI governance, and emerging technologies, reporting directly to the C-suite.
- **Data Infrastructure:** Partner with IT and Engineering to ensure the scalability and integrity of our big-data architecture and MLOps pipelines.
- **Innovation R&D:** Stay at the forefront of the field, identifying opportunities to implement Generative AI and Reinforcement Learning to maintain a competitive market edge.
Qualifications & Requirements
- **Education:** PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- **Experience:** Minimum 12+ years in Data Science, with at least 5 years in a significant leadership or head-of-department capacity.
- **Technical Mastery:** Deep expertise in Python/R, Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and Cloud AI ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- **Business Acumen:** Proven track record of delivering measurable ROI through data initiatives in a corporate environment.
- **Location:** Based in **West Bay Towers, Doha**—the epicenter of Qatar’s business and financial district.
