Responsibilities
- Support company registration, licensing, and operational structuring in Abu Dhabi
- Build a comprehensive 3 year business plan including revenue models, pricing strategy, and enrollment planning
- Define facility layout including pitches, nets, and equipment
- Implement modern cricket technology including video analysis and performance tracking
- Design structured coaching programs across all age groups
- Recruit and onboard coaching staff and build a strong coaching culture
- Lead end to end academy launch, oversee scheduling, parent engagement, and partnerships
Requirements
- ECB Level 3 / CA Level 3 / ICC Level 3 or equivalent certification
- 7+ years in cricket coaching or academy management
- Experience setting up or scaling a sports academy
- Strong business acumen and startup mindset
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Former professional or high level competitive cricketer preferred

About the Project
- We are hiring for our client, launching a premium indoor/semi outdoor Cricket Academy in Abu Dhabi, designed to serve a high potential expatriate community.
- The academy will combine world class coaching, cutting edge sports technology, and a premium customer experience for young boys and girls across all skill levels.
- We are seeking a visionary cricket professional with strong business acumen to act as the founding operator, responsible for building the academy from concept to launch.
Role Overview
- This role will begin as a hands on freelance/consulting engagement, focused on company formation, business setup, and launch execution.
- Upon successful launch, the role will transition into a full time leadership position, heading all cricket operations and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Founder to support company registration, licensing, and operational structuring in Abu Dhabi.
- Assist in vendor selection, banking setup, and operational compliance requirements.
- Define legal and operational frameworks required to run a sports academy in the UAE.
- Build a comprehensive 3 year business plan including revenue models, pricing strategy, and enrollment planning.
- Establish KPIs, unit economics, and growth roadmap.
- Define facility layout including pitches, nets, and equipment.
- Implement modern cricket technology including video analysis and performance tracking.
- Design structured coaching programs across all age groups.
- Ensure inclusivity and progressive training methodology.
- Recruit and onboard coaching staff and build a strong coaching culture.
- Lead end to end academy launch.
- Oversee scheduling, parent engagement, and partnerships.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- ECB Level 3 / CA Level 3 / ICC Level 3 or equivalent certification (Mandatory).
- 7+ years in cricket coaching or academy management.
- Experience setting up or scaling a sports academy.
- Strong business acumen.
- Startup mindset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Former professional or high level competitive cricketer (Preferred).
