Role Description
The Head of Business Development is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home.
The role leads GIIFF's business growth strategy, including partnerships, markets, and revenue opportunities aligned with the institute's mission.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic relationships with financial sector stakeholders.
- Design partnership proposals, negotiate agreements, and oversee key accounts to ensure value delivery.
- Analyze market trends and contribute to business planning and forecasting.
- Collaborate with program and research teams to develop solutions that meet partner needs.
- Set sales and outreach targets, monitor performance, and represent GIIFF in external meetings, events, and convenings.
Qualifications
- Strong business planning and business development skills, including growth strategies, revenue models, and partnership approaches.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret market data, financial information, and program results.
- Proven sales and account management experience, including pipeline building, closing agreements, and partner relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills across cultures and disciplines.
