Our Doha office plays a central role in embedding artificial intelligence and machine learning into operations, enhancing guest experiences, and driving innovation across the GCC.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Head of AI & Machine Learning** to lead enterprise-wide AI initiatives, oversee advanced ML frameworks, and align data-driven strategies with organizational goals.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver scalable AI solutions that support growth, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- **AI Strategy**: Define and implement AI frameworks across hospitality and enterprise systems.
- **Machine Learning Development**: Design and deploy ML models for predictive analytics, personalization, and automation.
- **Data Governance**: Ensure data integrity, compliance, and ethical AI practices.
- **Innovation Leadership**: Drive adoption of deep learning, NLP, and computer vision technologies.
- **Risk Management**: Identify AI-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- **Collaboration**: Partner with executives, engineers, and product teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Track KPIs, model accuracy, and deployment efficiency.
- **Team Leadership**: Mentor data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred).
- 12+ years of AI/ML experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of **AI frameworks** and GCC digital environments.
- Expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and cloud-native AI services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Experience in hospitality-tech or enterprise digital transformation organizations preferred.
