Overview

  • Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead culinary operations and elevate the dining experience across hotel outlets.
  • This leadership role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional with a proven track record of managing high performing kitchen teams, creating innovative menus, and delivering outstanding guest experiences in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety, drive culinary innovation, and inspire a talented team of chefs and kitchen associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all culinary operations across hotel restaurants, banquets, events, and room service.
  • Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards, guest preferences, and market trends.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and service excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Manage food cost, inventory control, procurement, and kitchen budgets.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop culinary team members.
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor kitchen performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure efficient staffing, scheduling, and productivity management.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high performance kitchen culture.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of culinary leadership experience, with at least 3 years in an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or similar senior role within luxury hotels or upscale restaurants.
  • Degree or professional certification in Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern culinary techniques.
  • Proven experience managing large kitchen brigades and banquet operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in food cost and budget management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage.
